Shawn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s and Gender Studies from Kenyon College, fostering a passion for reproductive healthcare. He subsequently pursued Nurse-Midwifery at Vanderbilt University. His dedication revolves around building empowering, patient-centered experiences in reproductive health, pregnancy, and birth. Shawn is excited to begin his midwifery career in Traverse City. He resides in Traverse City with his partner and their two cats. During his free time, he finds joy in reading, cooking, baking, and exploring the outdoors.
