Daniela Romero Vargas, C.N.M.

Daniela is a Certified Nurse Midwife committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based midwifery care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomolecular Sciences with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan. Inspired to pursue a career in women’s health advocacy, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University. Daniela then completed her Master of Science in Nursing and midwifery training at the University of Michigan. Born in Costa Rica and raised in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Daniela brings a culturally responsive and inclusive approach to care. She values supporting patients from diverse backgrounds and circumstances and is committed to reducing barriers to high-quality midwifery and reproductive health care. Daniela believes strongly in shared decision-making, patient education, and honoring each individual’s values and preferences. Her goal is to create a safe, respectful, and empowering environment where patients feel heard and supported. Outside of work, Daniela enjoys hiking, strength training at the gym, and spending time with family, her dog, and her cat, Luna and Thunder.
