Marcy D. Verplanck-Kanitz

A GRADUATE of Michigan State University, Dr. Verplanck-Kanitz attended MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine where she received her medical degree in 1987. Dr. Verplanck-Kanitz went on to complete an internship and her OB/GYN residency at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids. In 1992 she began her medical practice in Traverse City as an OB/GYN. She and husband Michael have three children, Arielle, Marc and Delin. Dr. Verplanck-Kanitz’s outside interests include arts and crafts, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking and biking.
